I met Professor William Keith Everson during my first semester at NYU, Fall 1994. The noted author, film preservationist, frequent talk show guest, and friend to everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Martin Scorsese also "rescued" numerous classic movies which would otherwise be lost to history.
